TERMS & CONDITIONS
All rates quoted are valid for the dates stated on the rate sheet and are subject to the following terms and conditions:
- GENERAL -
All rates are guaranteed for the dates/periods confirmed.
All rates include breakfast.
All rates include 14% V.A.T. and Tourism Levy. Should the government increase any of these then Dunkley House reserves the right to increase the rates without notice.
All rates are quoted in South African Rands (ZAR).
All reservations must be guaranteed by means of a bank transfer or a credit card deposit to the value of 50% of the accommodation due. Credit card users must complete and sign our credit card debit authorization form.
- BOOKING PROCEDURE -
Reservations must be made in writing via fax or e-mail.
All cancellations and/or amendments must be made in writing.
- DEPOSIT & PAYMENT -
A 50% deposit is required to confirm a booking.
The balance is to be settled on arrival. Extras such as bar drinks, laundry, telephone calls, transfers etc, are due on departure.
Guests leaving before 08:30 am are requested to settle the day prior to departure.
- CANCELLATION POLICY -
Cancellation and/or amendments will attract the following charges:
100% Cancellation charge for total accommodation reserved if cancelled 7 or fewer days in advance; (this is also applicable to all “no-shows” and premature departure);
75% Cancellation charge for total accommodation reserved if cancelled between 7 and 14 days prior to arrival;
50% Cancellation charge as outlined above if cancelled between 15 and 21 days prior to arrival;
25% Cancellation charge as outlined above if cancelled between 22 and 30 days prior to arrival.
Unforeseen cancellations due to war, unrest, administrative issues (e.g. invalid travel documents etc) or any other related circumstances are subject to the abovementioned terms and do not constitute a valid reason for waiver of the cancellation policy terms.
